VUCA is an acronym formed from the initials of the words Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. It is a term used to describe the fast-changing environment in which volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity have become the new norm across the world. Today, the elements of VUCA are used to define the changeable and uncertain world we live in, in every field.
Change has always existed. Today, however, the pace of change is accelerating, and it is projected to keep accelerating in the future.
VUCA has now become the new normal.
